Souris en cavale privacy policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026 (draft, not published)

This policy explains what data the game Souris en cavale processes, on Android and iPhone. It is published by Myriaclip (Mamadou COULIBALY EI), “we” below. The French version is the reference.

  • The game works without an account and offline.
  • We have no server that receives your game data: your progress stays on your phone.
  • Ads come from Google AdMob: you choose to watch them for a reward, and at most one can be forced per month. Without your consent, they are not personalised.
  • Purchases are paid through the App Store or Google Play: we never see your payment details.

Who is responsible

Data controller: Mamadou COULIBALY EI (trade name Myriaclip), APP 3201, 119 boulevard de la République, 77420 Champs-sur-Marne, France. For any question about your data: contact@myriaclip.fr. We have not appointed a data protection officer [TO BE CHECKED : no data protection officer: to be confirmed].

What the game does not do

  • No account creation, no email requested, no social network login.
  • No access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.
  • No analytics or audience measurement tool of our own.
  • No sale of data.

Data kept on your phone

To work, the game keeps on your phone only: your progress (escape levels and stars, records, coins, unlocked runners, companions, visual styles and cosmetics, weekly league), your settings (sound, vibration, language), the nickname you may choose, the history of ads shown (to keep our “at most one forced ad per month” rule), your purchases, the challenges you receive. This data is not sent to us. It is erased when you delete the game.

The weekly league is worked out on your phone: your opponents are in-game runners, not real players (the game says so on screen), and your score is not sent anywhere.

Challenges with friends

When you challenge a friend, the game prepares a link containing your game (the game seed, your moves, your score, and the runner, world and companion you chose) and your nickname if you set one. The link only leaves your phone if you send it yourself, with the app of your choice. We do not receive it and no server of ours keeps it.

If your friend does not have the game, the link opens the web version of the game, currently hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.) [TO BE CHECKED : final host of the web version]. The game data is placed after the “#” sign of the address: that part of the address is not sent to the host. As with any web page, the host does receive technical information (IP address, browser) under its own privacy policy.

Ads

Our rule. You choose to watch an ad to earn a reward (coins or bonuses that can also be earned by playing). A forced ad may appear at most once every 30 days, only when going back to the menu after a game, never during a game, never in the first three days after install, and never if you bought the “no ads” option.

Who provides them. Google AdMob [TO BE CHECKED : contracting Google entity for Europe, presumably Google Ireland Limited]. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google’s advertising SDK may process: your IP address (which gives an approximate location), a device identifier (Android advertising ID, Apple’s advertising identifier if you allow it, app-specific identifiers), information about your interactions with ads and the game, and technical diagnostic data. This data is encrypted in transit and processed by Google under its policy: policies.google.com/privacy, policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your consent. The game asks nothing at launch: before the first ad, in Europe (and wherever Google requires it), it shows Google’s consent form (User Messaging Platform). No ad is requested until you have made your choice. If you refuse personalised ads, and wherever this choice is not asked, only non-personalised ads are requested. You can change your mind at any time in Settings › Ads › Privacy options.

On iPhone, Apple may also ask whether the game may track your activity (App Tracking Transparency); without your permission, Apple’s advertising identifier is not used. You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier in your phone’s settings.

Legal basis. Your consent for personalised ads and access to the device identifier; [TO BE COMPLETED : basis for non-personalised ads and fraud prevention, e.g. our legitimate interest in funding a free game, to be validated by a lawyer].

No ads. The “no ads” purchase removes the forced ad and gives rewards without watching ads.

Purchases

Purchases (“no ads” and, depending on the game, cosmetics) are one-time purchases. Payment is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their terms; we never receive your name, email or payment details.

To know what you bought and restore it on a new phone, we use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., United States), which processes on our behalf: an anonymous identifier created for the game (we give it no identifier of yours), your in-game purchase history, and the store’s language and currency. RevenueCat’s policy: revenuecat.com/privacy [TO BE CHECKED : page address]. Legal basis: performing your purchase.

What is sold: the “no ads” option, single runners and trails, two packs (costumes, a trail and in-game bytes, given once) and the Styles Pack (all visual styles). Everything they contain can also be earned by playing. Trails, pack costumes and styles only change the look. Each runner has one ability and a small flaw, which never count where you compare yourself with others: the daily run is played without abilities, and in a challenge both players run with the same runner.

Children

The game is suitable for everyone but is not specifically aimed at children under 13 [TO BE COMPLETED : target audience declared in the stores, to be validated by a lawyer]. We do not ask for your age or identity. In France, a minor under 15 who accepts personalised ads should do so together with a parent; a parent can withdraw this choice at any time in Settings › Ads › Privacy options.

Transfers outside the European Union

Google and RevenueCat may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States, with the safeguards provided by the GDPR [TO BE CHECKED : EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses, depending on each provider].

How long

  • Data on your phone: until you delete the game.
  • Google: under Google’s policy.
  • RevenueCat: as long as the game is published, so your purchases can be restored [TO BE COMPLETED : actual period under the RevenueCat agreement].
  • We keep nothing else.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or erasure of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before. Since the game has no account and no server, most of your data is only on your phone: deleting the game erases it. For ads, use Privacy options and your phone’s settings. For purchases, write to us at contact@myriaclip.fr stating the store; we will pass the request on to RevenueCat.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), the French data protection authority, or to the authority of your country.

Security

Exchanges with Google, Apple and RevenueCat are encrypted. Data kept on the phone is protected by the phone itself.

Changes

If the game changes (for example an online leaderboard, currently switched off, that would send your nickname and scores), we will update this page before the new version and change the date at the top.
